K-ARTchitecture Outreach Concludes BUKLOD×PAFNAM 2025

Drenched in an afternoon of color and purpose, PAFNAMxBUKLOD’s K-ARTchitecture emerged as one of the highlights of the finale, featuring a donation drive that celebrated creativity and talent through art while underscoring its vital role in shaping society, held along Escolta Street in Binondo, Manila, December 13, 2025.

Headed by National Executive Director JY Castro alongside Mr. Stephen Go, the K-ARTchitecture Committee pushed forward with the donation drive as part of the organization’s shared advocacy, united in a clear goal to help revive the culture of arts in society.

“We came to share, and we left with a deeper understanding […] These children taught us that joy can exist without having much, that imagination doesn’t ask for permission, and that hope can grow even on the sidewalk. In between drawings and laughter, they reminded us how powerful it is simply to be present […] This wasn’t just about art. It was about seeing one another, in a deeper moment,” expressed NED Castro as he thanked those who showed up and supported the initiative as well.

With the help of the UAPGA National Board of Directors, Chapter Officers, Members (9), and dedicated volunteers (4) from Old downtown district of Binondo, the team gathered 30 children as participants.

“As someone who isn’t from Manila, this experience is truly new to me. I understand their situation, it may not be the best, but you can see their eyes filled with dreams. The culture may be different, yet they are still children who deserve what every child should have: the opportunity to dream big,” shared Vice President of Area C John Khyle Fuentes, outreach participant.

Volunteers and officers officially commenced the outreach program by preparing activities for the children, guiding them in the use of art materials, and encouraging appreciation of the creative process.

Moreover, the children received art materials they could keep as a remembrance of being part of UAPGA’s history, while the activity provided them an opportunity to express themselves and showcase their talents through art.

The event went beyond giving materials to children, demonstrating UAPGA’s commitment to the youth and its values of unity, love for art, and generosity, as the organization shared art with the community to inspire creativity and underscore art’s role as one of the most visible and influential forces in society.

Above all, K-ARTchitecture symbolized hope reminding us that every child deserves the chance to dream, and that through simple acts like this, they may find a path they want to pursue in the future.
